Sales Director

Rugged is looking for an experienced and high-energy Sales Director to lead our team as we achieve new growth. Along with meeting targets and keeping the sales team motivated, the Sales Director will be responsible for accelerating growth, recommending and executing new sales strategies, business development into new markets, generating and submitting RFPs and related sales documents, attending key events, collaborating with the senior team to set future revenue goals, company strategy, and implementing annual sales plans.

  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales director

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Foreign and Domestic sales experience is required
  • Foreign and Domestic military sales experience is a plus
