Our pistol suppressors provide world-class suppression as well as key features that improve durability, versatility, and make cleaning a whole lot easier. You can rest assured that your suppressor will not only perform but last a lifetime backed by our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty and Belt Fed Ratings.
ADAPT™ Modular Technology
Now you don’t have to choose between a short pistol suppressor and a long one. With ADAPT™ Modules you get two lengths with one tax stamp. So now can you have a shorter suppressor and a lighter one in seconds.
Obsidian baffles are machined from 17-4 stainless steel barstock. This allows you to use virtually any cleaning method, so you can spend more time at the range instead of scrubbing carbon.
Strategically Placed Engraving
We strategically place the serialized engraving over the thickest stainless steel cross-section of the suppressor. This allows fast and easy repairs should the suppressor become damaged beyond repair because if the serialized portion of a suppressor is destroyed, the suppressor can’t be repaired.
Our pistol suppressors use a non-slotted design creating a full-circumference gas seal because this drastically lowers gas blowback for a more enjoyable shooting experience.

What Is A Pistol Suppressor and
How ow Does It Work
A pistol suppressor, also known as a firearm silencer or firearm muffler, is a muzzle device attached to the barrel of a firearm, designed for sound reduction, reduced muzzle flash, and recoil mitigation. A pistol silencer is specialized for handguns and pistol-caliber carbines. It significantly lowers the sound produced by handguns and pistols through a combination of parts involving an expansion chamber and baffles that operate by trapping and gradually releasing the expanding gases emitted from the barrel. The intricate design of suppressors reduces noise and minimizes the overall signature of the firearm, making it an essential hearing protection tool while shooting. Here’s our suppressor guide to learn more.
The Importance of A High-Quality
The use of a suppressor is vital for hearing protection, as it significantly reduces the decibel level of gunfire, safeguarding the shooter’s hearing during prolonged use. A high-quality pistol silencer is crucial for more than just noise reduction. It significantly improves your shooting experience by managing recoil and muzzle rise improving your shooting accuracy and comfort during shooting. Constructed from premium materials such as stainless steel, a top-tier pistol silencer ensures consistent performance and reliability, even in intensive scenarios such as shooting with a high-capacity magazine. It’s important to use suppressors that use high-quality materials, with innovative designs to prevent malfunctions like baffle strikes and contribute to the longevity of your suppressor.
Are Suppressors Legal?
Silencer legality varies by state law, with states like New York and California having distinct regulations. In the United States, pistol suppressor ownership is governed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), particularly the National Firearms Act (NFA) and the Gun Control Act. Because a silencer is an NFA item, individuals must acquire a tax stamp after a thorough background check and adherence to state and local law. This process can be frustrating. If you’re scratching your head over your state’s rules or the hassle of getting a tax stamp, please see our guide on suppressor laws and legality.
Choosing the Right
When choosing the right pistol suppressor for your needs, the first thing to look at is caliber. The caliber of your firearm significantly influences suppressor selection. Suppressors designed for smaller calibers might not be suitable for higher-caliber pistols.
If you are shooting primarily 9mm then the first place to look is the Obsidian9, which is specifically optimized for shooting 9mm.
If you are shooting primarily 45 then the first place to look is the Obsidian45, which is specifically optimized for shooting pistol calibers up to 45.
Size and Weight
Both the Obsidian9 and Obsidian45 are modular, so they each have 2 configurable lengths: a long version and a short version (all included within the same tax stamp).
However, if you are looking for the lightest option possible – then the first place to look is the Alaskan360Ti. This is the lightest suppressor on the market, even lighter than the iPhone 14 and rated up to .338 and 9mm.
Choosing the right suppressor depends on your shooting needs, whether it’s for competition, hunting, or law enforcement. All Rugged Suppressor models come with an Unconditional Lifetime Warranty and are designed with modularity in mind, ensuring versatility for various shooting needs.
