The ½x28 M2 Brake is rated for projectiles up to a .360 diameter projectile. The 5/8×24 M2 Brake is rated for projectiles up to a .460 diameter projectile. This makes the M2 Brake ideal for rifles, along with lever guns and pistol caliber carbines with the Alaskan360 series or Obsidian45/Obsidian9 with the Obsidian Dual Taper Mount.
The M2 Brake is compatible with standard wrenches and recommended to be tightened to 20-25 ft pounds.
